The goal was to extend the existing school by creating a common space for all of the students and staff and new spaces for learning for the younger students who are moving into the new building. Form of the new building is derived from the need for a connection at the most rational point. Meandering wall creates space between the extension and existing swimming hall/gymnasium. By keeping cars and service traffic away from the school yard, a safe environment for the school kids is achieved. Materials are inspired by the original building. Learning spaces are modifiable and can be adapted into a multitude of pedagogical applications
