Efforts to preserve green areas in a tight plot result in a slim mass of black wood. Dividing spaces into two floors and connecting them horizontally as well as vertically result in interesting and functional living spaces. Additional semi-private outside space for cooling off after a sauna is formed on top of a car shelter.
Formality of a somewhat vigorous building is reduced by a relaxed composition of openings in its facades. Playful placement of windows is derived from functions and needs of spaces inside.
